A new feature in Excel 2013,Flash fill can enter data automatically into your worksheet.It can save your time and effort .flash fill can guess what kind of information you're entering into your worksheet.
Flash fill can finish your work for as soon as it detect what you want to do.
Shortcut key: ctrl+E
process of how to turn on flash fill
Flash fill can automatically fills your data when it sense a pattern for that you need to turn on flash fill.
go to file →option
click on advanced and make sure the automatically flash fill box is checked.
Example 1
In the below picture we have to write First Name ,Middle Name and last name separately . Here we can use flash fill .
First ,let the Excel know what you want to do by entering the "rohan" into cell B3"kumar" into cell C3 and "jaiswal"into D3.
Go to the Data tab →click Flash Fill or(press Ctrl+E)
Example 2
Here we have to write separately state code ,pan card and zonal area code.write "25" in cell D4, "ABDFS1324" in cell E4 and "1Z5" in cell F4.
